A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Cooking Show: Chicken Fried Rice. Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. The timeline takes another interesting turn: M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
