A strange little side quest

Grombi trivia break for Clear Vision: Space Invaders arrived in 1978 and helped turn electronic games from an arcade curiosity into mainstream entertainment. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
