A strange little side quest
Here is a rabbit hole for the next loading screen in Cartoon Stylist: During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. And the history keeps stacking up: Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
