A strange little side quest
One reason racing keeps producing good game ideas around Bus Stunts is that its history is full of strange turns. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. And the history keeps stacking up: Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. That gives Bus Stunts a little more company than it first appears to have.
