A strange little side quest
A quick detour while Build Tower waits for your next move: SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence.
