A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in All Stars: Basket Zorb. Basketball was invented by James Naismith in 1891 at the International YMCA Training School in Springfield, Massachusetts. And then there is this: Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
What you are getting into
Basket Zorb is basketball with a twist: it's the game where you slam dunk yourself! Take aim with balls containing your favorite cartoon characters and try to sink as many as you can into the net. How high can you score? you can choose to play with characters from multiple shows, this game will also be found in the following pages: New Looney Tunes Games, Tom and Jerry Games, Be Cool Scooby Doo Games, Bunnicula Games, The Happos Family Games, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz Games, and Wacky Races Games. Start by choosing one of these shows. With the mouse you click and drag a line, which is going to be the trajectory your ball takes. The balls contain characters from the show you have chosen. Do your best to get the ball into the hoop as many times as possible, because that is how you get points.
