A strange little side quest

A small trivia drop for Action Driving: Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. The same trail leads to another fact: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That long chain of experiments is part of why racing still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
