A strange little side quest

Neon Biker may feel immediate, but the ideas around racing have been evolving for a very long time. A top Formula 1 tyre stop can happen in under two seconds; McLaren set a 1.80-second pit-stop record. That is only half the story. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. That gives Neon Biker a little more company than it first appears to have.
