A strange little side quest
Zombie Waves 3D has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Space Invaders arrived in 1978 and helped turn electronic games from an arcade curiosity into mainstream entertainment. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
