A strange little side quest
Wibbox V2: Extra Ordinary belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. A second detail makes the picture even better: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players.
