A strange little side quest
Dart Game has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. That gives Dart Game a little more company than it first appears to have.
