A strange little side quest
Between one round of Uphill Rush and the next, this is worth knowing: By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. The timeline takes another interesting turn: By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. That gives Uphill Rush a little more company than it first appears to have.
