A strange little side quest

There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Turn Chase. Chess changed dramatically in Europe during the 15th and 16th centuries when the queen became the board's most powerful piece. The same trail leads to another fact: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
