A strange little side quest
A little context makes The Skull Kid more fun to place on the gaming map. Games resembling checkers were being played thousands of years ago; evidence of related games reaches back to around 1600 BC. The same trail leads to another fact: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That gives The Skull Kid a little more company than it first appears to have.
