A strange little side quest
The Last Stand belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. The same trail leads to another fact: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at The Last Stand feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
