A strange little side quest
A little context makes The Hermit WebGL more fun to place on the gaming map. The name Tetris combines a reference to four-square pieces with Pajitnov's interest in tennis. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. That long chain of experiments is part of why puzzles still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
