GROMBI FACT DROPREAL-WORLD TRIVIA
A strange little side quest
Between one round of Teen Titans Go: Storyboard and the next, this is worth knowing: Reader Rabbit's 1986 arrival was part of a major expansion of educational computer software before the CD-ROM boom of the 1990s. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. That long chain of experiments is part of why learning games still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
