A strange little side quest
Sweet Fruity House belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. And the history keeps stacking up: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Sweet Fruity House feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
