A strange little side quest
Stupid Zombies belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games. And the history keeps stacking up: The name Tetris combines a reference to four-square pieces with Pajitnov's interest in tennis. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Stupid Zombies feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
