A strange little side quest
Stone Aged belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Fossils preserve evidence of life and environments across millions of years, letting scientists reconstruct both vanished animals and the worlds they lived in. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Early computer role-playing games helped turn rules, inventories, exploration and character progression into systems that could support long-form digital adventures. That long chain of experiments is part of why prehistoric life still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
