A strange little side quest
Even a quick game like Squid Game: Tralalero Green Light sits on top of decades — and sometimes centuries — of ideas. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That gives Squid Game: Tralalero Green Light a little more company than it first appears to have.
