A strange little side quest
The mechanics around Space Frontier have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. It also connects to a different milestone: The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games. That long chain of experiments is part of why space still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
