A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Space Break for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Doom changed game design and distribution in 1993 by separating its engine from content and spreading widely through shareware. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Space Break feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
