A strange little side quest
The next time Battlefield Game asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. The timeline takes another interesting turn: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That gives Battlefield Game a little more company than it first appears to have.
