A strange little side quest
One reason racing keeps producing good game ideas around Snow Park Master is that its history is full of strange turns. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
