A strange little side quest
Put Slenderman Must Die: Underground Bunker next to the history of action games and a few unexpected connections appear. Doom changed game design and distribution in 1993 by separating its engine from content and spreading widely through shareware. A second detail makes the picture even better: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That gives Slenderman Must Die: Underground Bunker a little more company than it first appears to have.
