A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Sea Life Puzzle for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. And then there is this: Women competed in Olympic archery as early as 1904, making it one of the early Olympic sports to include women. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Sea Life Puzzle feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
