A strange little side quest
The mechanics around Roxie's Kitchen: French Bread Pizza have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. That gives Roxie's Kitchen: French Bread Pizza a little more company than it first appears to have.
