A strange little side quest
A small trivia drop for Red Hair Knight Tale: Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. That gives Red Hair Knight Tale a little more company than it first appears to have.
