A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Puppy Race, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. That is only half the story. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Puppy Race feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
