A strange little side quest
A little context makes Pilot Heroes more fun to place on the gaming map. Early computer role-playing games helped turn rules, inventories, exploration and character progression into systems that could support long-form digital adventures. And the history keeps stacking up: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
