A strange little side quest
Princess Spell Factory belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That gives Princess Spell Factory a little more company than it first appears to have.
