A strange little side quest
Playground Man Mod: Web of Destruction has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. That is only half the story. Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
