A strange little side quest

The mechanics around FNF vs Yourself: Silly Billy have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. And then there is this: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
