A strange little side quest
Pixel Car Memory Quest has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. The timeline takes another interesting turn: The Oregon Trail eventually appeared across generations of computer hardware and sold tens of millions of copies, making it one of the most enduring educational games. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
