A strange little side quest
A little context makes Arcade Drift more fun to place on the gaming map. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That gives Arcade Drift a little more company than it first appears to have.
