A strange little side quest
One reason arcade history keeps producing good game ideas around Naruto Battle Grounds is that its history is full of strange turns. Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. And the history keeps stacking up: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That gives Naruto Battle Grounds a little more company than it first appears to have.
