A strange little side quest

Before the next round of My Dream Girl, here is a piece of the bigger picture. By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That gives My Dream Girl a little more company than it first appears to have.
