A strange little side quest
A little context makes Halloween Fun: Emily's Diary more fun to place on the gaming map. By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. Grombi files that under: small game, surprisingly large backstory.
