A strange little side quest
One reason video-game history keeps producing good game ideas around Mr Bean Funny Face LOL is that its history is full of strange turns. In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. And the history keeps stacking up: Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
