A strange little side quest
Between one round of Magic Tiles and the next, this is worth knowing: A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. And then there is this: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
