A strange little side quest

If L.A. Rex sends you down a curiosity rabbit hole, start here. Space Invaders, released in 1978, helped push video games into mainstream popular culture. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. That gives L.A. Rex a little more company than it first appears to have.
