A strange little side quest
Killover belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Doom changed game design and distribution in 1993 by separating its engine from content and spreading widely through shareware. And the history keeps stacking up: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Killover feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
