A strange little side quest
Jungle Book : Jungle Sprint belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. That is only half the story. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. That long chain of experiments is part of why sports history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
