A strange little side quest
Jump and Run for Brainrots has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. The name Tetris combines a reference to four-square pieces with Pajitnov's interest in tennis. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Jump and Run for Brainrots feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
