A strange little side quest
Idle Ants Simulator has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. And then there is this: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That long chain of experiments is part of why food history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
