A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Hit and Knock Down for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. And then there is this: Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. That long chain of experiments is part of why archery still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
