Hard Court has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Basketball became an Olympic medal sport in 1936, while women’s basketball joined the Olympic programme in 1976. A second detail makes the picture even better: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor.
