A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Hangman Challenge Winter is anything but tiny. Women competed in Olympic archery as early as 1904, making it one of the early Olympic sports to include women. The same trail leads to another fact: The Oregon Trail began in 1971 when three student teachers created a computer simulation to help Minnesota schoolchildren learn American history. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
