A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Granny Dentist Simulator, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The same trail leads to another fact: The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games.
